The GWR team has hit the ground running for 2010 with a series of strong results placing in the top 5 in four early season circuit races at Upavon and Hog hill.

The GWR team had a great day today, 21st March, at the Evesham vale road race with U23 rider Llewellyn Kinch just missing out on a big early season win when he took 2nd place. This ride was all the more exceptional given the quality of the field which included an Olympian, a former pro tour rider and several of the national tour series and premier series teams. Llewellyn made it into the significant move of the day where eight riders went clear early on. These riders soon set about establishing a 30 second gap on the main pelaton. On the last lap of 5 this group splintered down to three riders of which Llewellyn was one of them. For company he had Olli Beckingsale (Giant) who is an Olympian Mountain biker, and Liam Holohan (Raleigh). Coming in to the sprint for the line Llewellyn led the sprint out and was beaten by less than a tyres width on the line. Sam Redding GWR teams U23 rider finished in the chasing pack and finishing with a fine 17th place.
